Any family with members suffering from ASD can join GAUTENA. With the aim of avoiding duplications
and coordinating our activities with the resources available to all citizens, access to our services is
filtered through public agencies, who are responsible (in over 90% of cases) for covering the costs thus
incurred.

We aim to provide a comprehensive and, where necessary, life-long service to people with ASD
in Gipuzkoa, attending to their clinical, educational, leisure, occupational and community housing
needs.

ASD sufferers are extremely diverse, although the majority have a high level of dependence.
This diversity means that our responses must be tailored to suit each individual, and our services
are based on people-centred programmes which focus specially on the patients own needs, vision
and hopes and aspirations.
